Elizabeth Wilkinson is a Nashville native and life-long mover who loves to share her passion for healthy living with others. Elizabeth first discovered Pilates at a young age as a student at The Nashville Ballet, when her teachers began incorporating Pilates into her ballet classes. She continued her study of Pilates throughout college and her career as a professional dancer. Elizabeth moved to New York City in 2004, where she began studying Gyrotonic and completed her teacher training at Studio Riverside. Elizabeth was certified in Classical Pilates through Center for Movement in New York, and received a second certification at The Lab Fitness in Brooklyn, where she learned a more contemporary approach. She is also certified in Thai Yoga Bodywork through the New York Open Center. For the last twelve years, Elizabeth has developed her own unique teaching style, drawing from her diverse movement background. She has taught thousands of clients at some of the top studios in New York and Los Angeles, including Soho Sanctuary, Equinox, and The Moving Joint. Elizabeth is thrilled to return to her hometown to offer high-quality Pilates and Gyrotonic training to the Nashville community!
Shae Bryant is an enthusiastic Movement Specialist and Wellness Consultant who guides private clients and groups in living a Lifestyle of Wellness - integrating physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health into daily living. Her favorite healing modalities include Yoga, Pilates, Massage, Meditation, Eating Whole Foods, and Living Limitless Joy. Trained in many different traditions of yoga, her personal practice is the authentic method of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and having traveled to Mysore, India 5 times, she is the only Authorized Teacher of this style in the state of Tennessee. Her Pilates journey began with her studies with the Nashville and Louisville Ballets and she then completed a 2 year apprenticeship in 2004 to teach the Pilates Method for both Matwork and Apparatus. Since then she has assisted thousands of students in reducing pain, increasing strength and flexibility, and living a healthy, empowered life. Shae is a mentor, healer, accountability buddy, teacher, friend, and fellow Wellness Warrior on the path to integration, wholeness, and awakened living!
Mary Elizabeth Pellett is a classically trained dancer who has studied and danced with The Joffrey Ballet in Chicago, Illinois; the Kirov Academy in Washington D.C.; Metro Park’s Centennial Youth Ballet in Nashville, Tennessee; and with John Magnus and the Portland Festival Ballet, in Portland, Oregon. Additionally, Mary has worked in Dublin, Ireland with the country's premiere contemporary dance company, CoisCeim Dance Theatre. To supplement her dancing and build strength, Mary began her Pilates practice at 16. A few years later she completed a 600 hour Pilates certification and has taught clients of all ages and movement backgrounds in group and private classes ever since. Her love for movement of all kinds, and her belief in the importance of having a strong, healthy body is what motivates Mary to help others in their Pilates practice.
Anna Leigh was first introduced to Pilates when she was 15 years old to recover from a dance injury, and she soon realized how much Pilates had changed her dancing and body for the better. She had more stability to support her hyper mobile muscles as well as improved dance technique and remaining pain and injury free. Anna Leigh continued Pilates to compliment her dance training through college where she received her degree in dance from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). After college Anna Leigh completed her Comprehensive Pilates certification in order to help people discover that Pilates is for any body, and anyone can find joy and healing through movement.
Phylicia Roybal is a native of Santa Fe, New Mexico. She received her Bachelor degree in Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Arizona in 2011. Phylicia is currently a certified GYROKINESIS®️ apprentice. She is constantly working towards becoming stronger and more in tune with her own body and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. She has had the privilege of working with New Dialect Dance company under the direction of Banning Bouldin, Ronn Stewart and Cocodāco Dance Project, Kibbutz contemporary dance company, Catherine Cabeen - Hyphen and Moving People Dance. She has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Roy Assaf, Rami Be’er, Donald Mckayle, Robert Moses, Gail Gilbert, Kevin Iega Jeff, and Bobby Mc Ferrin. Phylicia has taught at renowned programs such as The Nashville Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet Academy Chicago, The Youth American Grand Prix, Northwestern University, The Hispanic Family Foundation Baila program, Foster Dance Studios, Ensworth High School, Stage Right Performing arts and Metro parks dance division. She continues to find inspiration through experimental movement and improvisation.
Courtney brings 20+ years of experience working with the human body to Well Body Pilates. Over the years Courtney has gathered knowledge and training in Pilates, Dance, Gyrotonic, Yoga, Circus/Acrobatics and Chi gong that set her apart as an advanced trauma informed functional and restorative movement trainer. Originally coming to pilates as a method of rehabilitation from numerous dance injuries, moving the body with ease and without judgment is the intention she moves from. Courtney has worked side by side physical therapists to rehabilitate elite athletes and performers worldwide. Courtney is also a certified holistic health coach, colon hydrotherapist and gifted sound healing facilitator, these additional modalities inform her lens in which she approaches the body. The systems of the body are all connected and working together to keep you breathing and moving, Courtney has a unique and intuitive ability to meet her clients where they are at and find easeful paths to flow and function within the body.
Ainsley has always been very active in sports, health, well-being and fitness. Ainsley is certified in Personal Training, Aerobic and Group Instruction, Dance Fitness (mixed styles), Barre Fitness, Bootcamp, FXP Hula Hoop, UGI Fitness, Spin Cycling, Aerial Fitness, Core Fitness, Bounce, CPR, First Aid, Asthma/Anaphylactic Awareness. Ainsley is the Creator/Master Instructor/Trainer of the BlaZe Dance Fitness method. Ainsley has worked and trained clients in every age group, skill level, through rehabilitation and disability including children of age 3-15, professional athletes, adults 20 +. Ainsley loves being a part of a clients personal fitness journey and she always strive to have every participant leave their session feeling uplifted, accomplished and confident. Ainsley is also a recording artist, singer/songwriter, professional dancer, actress, visual artist & entrepreneur.
